Recently I was thinking about such thing as Ukrainian troubles, social problems living in this country, world economic crisis and the solving ways.
So, here is my way of thinking:
First of all today we have global the warming problem. It is clear to all, I think. If not, please don't read more here.
So, global warming is very complex problem. It depends of many things, and so on it has results in many ways. Many ordinary people today especially in Ukraine ignore this question. But this crisis
applies to all of us. I have a lot of video material from Copenhagen climate conference - stories of people from all around the globe about the influence of global warming to their living. The most of
them are from Africa and Asia. But climatic crisis affects many people in such middle-located county as Ukraine too. We will have the waves of people migration from less protected countries. We already
have more snow in the winter, more water falls with rains at autumn and spring (when it falls) and the summer is more hot resent years.
But we continue to cut our forests and burn coil - so negative effects will continue to increase.
So, recently in Copenhagen I use my chance to see and feel at general main principles of work of young climate activity of Europe. The main idea of young climate movement - is to build the movement.
The truly movement of ordinary people. We will try to do our best to show people in our countries the importance and actually need of solving climate crisis. And there is no time for expecting
someone for doing something. Everyone must take an action. It is one of the main messages that Copenhagen bring up to the active world community.
But what should we do? What is the stuff that you and me can do separately and together, in our homelands or abroad?
We have not hear it either from our world political leaders nor climate youth community yet. Maybe I doesn't hear It?
But anyway the decision is in the consumer demand.
The industrial revolution occurred in nineteenth and twenty century were oriented to the production of goods for the muss consumption. Due to this we have higher level of living today but this
revolution was not planned. It was rather chaotic, oriented by meeting main people demands and needs. We starting to plan our future growth only today.
So the MAIN question is not in decreasing the consumption (using less water or electricity). We must transform our production making cycles through the deliberate consumption of industrial goods. I
think this is the key for solving climate crisis. And we can do it in a positive way. We must support an alternative goods. Products that made within the scientific based cycles. We must choose things
made within the nature-safe technologies. If the technology is green, the things will be green too.
My opinion is in the message "Let's build movement of people publicly choosing consumption of green technologies and goods. That is it. Anyone can do it best buying alternative production thus forcing
transformation of our dirty industries. We already have new clean technologies based on the cradle-to-cradle cycles. We have good will of people and many of our politic leaders. Together we can take
a point on it and move on much faster to sustainable society and more stable green world. That is what we want, isn't it?"
